ANIMAL CHIROPRACTIC
What is Animal Chiropractic?
As a compliment to veterinary care, animal chiropractic serves as a holistic health service for pets aimed at addressing the root cause of their issues. It is performed by providing gentle, safe, effective manual adjustments that correct nervous system dysfunction along with joint, disc, and soft tissue disorders.
Similar to humans, animals experience spinal mobility issues that can cause widespread havoc on their bodies. It can display as a slight limp, loss of control of back legs, digestive issues, loss of appetite, and much more. By addressing the root cause of the issue, animal chiropractic care helps facilitate natural healing from within.
How do I know if my pet needs chiropractic care?
While all animals can benefit from chiropractic care, here are some signs to look for that indicate your pet needs chiropractic care:

What does an animal chiropractic appointment include?
-
The first visit consists of a thorough history, gait analysis, range of motion testing, static palpation and motion palpation of the spine and extremities to ensure that your pet is a good fit for chiropractic care. After ensuring your pet is a good fit for care, the first adjustment consists of specific manual adjustments performed on the spine and extremities (arms and legs) based on the findings from the exam. Once the adjustment is done, we will work together as a team to form goals and find the best care plan for you and your fur baby.
-
Every follow up adjustment consists of a brief analysis and manual full spine and extremity adjustments based on the findings from the analysis that day.
